	In 2009, The Peace of Heart Choir's community performances and public concerts received significant financial support through two funds administered by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council: The Fund for Creative Communities, supported by the New York State Council on the Arts, and the Manhattan Community Arts Fund, supported by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.

	An invaluable source of support for the choir comes from September Space, itself a support organization started after 9/11. September Space has provided us rehearsal space at their facilities in exchange for free performances for its events.

	We are proud to be a part of LIFEBeat's Hearts and Voices program, which brings the gift of live music to thousands of people at numerous facilities throughout New York City including hospitals, hospices, residential facilities and treatment centers.
	Though the choir changed its name to The Peace of Heart Choir, we retained a mutually supportive and affirming relationship with NYC Recovers.
